IX Renewables has rewarded CrocWorks the full EPCI Cable Package Management for Inter-Array (IAC) and Export Cables (EC) of TPC Offshore Wind Power Generation Phase II Project for Foxwell Energy Corporation Ltd (Shinfox Energy), by appointing Tim van Keulen (Director at CrocWorks) Package Lead. The project (owned by Taipower (Taiwan Power Company), involves the full scope of engineering, procurement, construction, installation and operation and maintenance for the following years. Foxwell Energy is the first company in Taiwan to execute a full EPCI contract. The specific demands that are implied with a state owned company project can form a challenge, as well as complying with the Taiwanese local content demands.

This 300MW offshore wind farm development at Zone26 in the Taiwan Strait is positioned approximately 20km out of the coast of Taichung City. The area has water depths up to 50m. The Offshore Wind Farm consist of 31 Vestas turbines with Century Steel foundations. The subsea electrical and communication infrastructure will consist of almost 60km 66kV composite Inter-Array Cables and 60+km 160kV composite Export Cables.
